When your online boyfriend only uses haha and maybe for nearly everything recently and doesn't try to keep a conversation going or takes hours to reply even though his doing nothing, makes less time to talk and never available on weekends is he losing interest? And what to do about it?

Hmm that doesn't really sound good. When someone goes from actually talking to just giving short one word replies, it usually means they're losing interest or have stuff on their mind. A few things you could try:

- straight up ask him if everything's okay between you guys or if he's still as into it. Rip off the bandaid so you know what's up.

- plan a cute video call date to reconnect face to face. maybe being able to see each other will re-spark things.

- give him some space for a bit if he's busy, but say you'll chat properly soon so he knows you're still there. lack of communication kills it.

- if he still seems checked out after that, then unfortunately he's probably fading out. don't wanna waste your time on someone not putting in effort too.

- keep your options open and don't put all your eggs in one basket if it's only starting. easier said than done i know!

- worst case, have a clean breakup chat so you both know where you stand and can move on if it's not working out anymore. draggin it on hurts more.

Ugh girl, when they say one thing but their actions show something else, that's the woooorst. Sounds like dude might be sliding into the "gray area" with you so he can kinda have you on the backburner while he does his thing. Not cool.

If I were you, I wouldn't just take his word for it anymore when he says everything's fine. Pay attention to how you FEEL in the relationship and trust your gut. Are you always left wondering where you stand? Do you feel underappreciated?

Next time he's acting distant, I'd hit him with something like "I'm getting mixed signals from you lately. You say we're good but it doesn't seem like you're as into this as before. What's really up?" Make him explain the disconnect.

If he starts making excuses, that's your cue sis. You deserve someone who's hype to be with YOU, not just keeping you around just in case. Have some respect for yourself - if he can't step it up, it's time to dip outta the gray area for good!
