Nothing is impossible, but that's generally not how men work (though it's often how women work). For men, we typically know we have romantic feelings for a girl once having our first significant interaction with her, or sometimes just after witnessing her interact with others (usually at school or work). That's because it's not just her looks, but how she speaks and her personality and attitude that has to be there in order to trigger those feelings. Most women think it's 100% looks and that's the only thing they focus on, but that will only attract guys who just want casual sex.

Anyway, for the vast majority of men, it doesn't take long at all to figure out if he has feelings - or if he doesn't. There are always a few exceptions, but I recommend that you never rely on being an exception because most people will end up being disappointed.

Most men who are looking for a serious relationship (and not all men are) have about 5 or 6 things they want in a woman. Do you know what they are? Are you those things? That would be by far the best way to improve your chances with any guy looking for a serious relationship.

Not in the way you think: men are visual first and foremost so if a guy thinks a girl is ugly no personality trait is going to make up for that. If he finds her attractive her personality will influence whether he sees her as relationship material or recreational use only.

Yeah, it's definitely a possibility.

If I spend enough time around someone with a cool personality they definitely become much more attractive to me.

Back in school there was a girl that I thought nothing much of, she was just another classmate and I never really noticed her. She was good looking but there were cuter girls in the class that I was chasing. Then one day I heard from her friends that she liked me. I brushed it off cos it didn't really mean much to me, but after that I couldn't help looking at her to check if it was true. Sure enough, I noticed her looking at me a lot and I started subconsciously thinking about her more and more. We started spending time together at school, got along really well, and eventually started hanging out on the weekends etc. We agreed not to go into a relationship because we were graduating and going to separate colleges, but we've been close friends for these 4 years since.

I'd never go into a relationship with her now because I like her as a friend and I wouldn't do that, but back in school I definitely developed a crush on her.

Trust me, it's much more fun when you love a good personality rather than just the good looks

Well, there are the men whose heads follow their dicks, and there are those who take their dick's suggestions, but lead with their heads. In either case, the dick is always interested. Whether the head is, is another story.

Obviously there will be exceptions, but this seems to be the way for the most part. Even with asexual/gay guys, they don't actually have to be attracted or into it (sexually) to have things still work/function down there.

it depends if you never saw a certain side of her that really turns you on in the future. Or if your friend is super attracted to a girl you are not really into, and he explains why she is attractive and why she deserves a lot of attention, then he convinces you to see it in his perspective, you can gain an attraction for a person you weren't too attracted to in the first place.

Another situation can be a different hairdo. there was this annoying lady that used to go to church with me and I wasn't attracted to her with her short hair. But once she let her hair grow longer and she let it loose, I could see myself one day getting drunk and banging her.

I'd say there are 2 attractions. 1. the look, 2. the personality. I think both are needed to be in a good relationship. First one is important cuz I feel attracted to sexy women, the second one is important just to spend time with each other when we do something together.

Absolutely. There was a friend that was a girl that had a crush on me in high school. I did not find her attractive, but she had a bubbly and very positive personality. She was always energetic and made me more energetic myself every day. She came to my house one day and my mom loved her too. She was not my type physically, but I truthfully regret not getting with her to this day. I think she's married now.

They only want the hottest women just based on looks and then something happens that changes all of that.
They start to get to know someone, not based on their looks and over time develop feelings for them and leave all of the "I'm so pretty" girls behind them.

I think this can happen if a guy sets hard parameters regarding the type of individual he wants to date and then realizes that his parameters are very limiting and the characteristics he's looking for don't actually make him happy.
