Guys are so cunfusing?

This one boy slided into my DMs on my instagram. But i'm annoyed at how looong it take him to open my messages. Usually we exchange about 4 messages a day as we leave each other on delivered for about 4 hours up to 6 hours. Why is that? I'm annoyed because if he really liked me he would text me quickly and he would have long conversations. What should i do?

p. s.: i have never mentioned why he take so long to respond cause i don't seem to be needy (and i am not) and i also give the same or simillar eergy back

Most guys are not as emotional as women. It may be no big deal to think about replying back for a while to us as we may be pondering a reply or just not in the mood to.
