Guys, does hearing that a girl's ex-boyfriend wasn't attracted to her confirm your ideas of her attractiveness?

Say that you didn't find a girl attractive, and then you hear that her ex-boyfriend wasn't all that excited about her either. Would you secretly be thinking, 'well, yeah, it's true, she's not attractive. Poor girl'? Or what would you be thinking secretly?

Depends on if I agree with it I guess, some guys are just assholes and will say it or even tell their girl to attempt to prevent them from leaving or because they settled with someone just to have sex while pretending she's someone else. I can't imagine a thing more hurtful to do to your girl, and girls this happened to are then insecure afterwards. Luckily guys like me are very patient with that so in my case i'd go out of my way to show my appreciation for her if I think he was full of shit.

It would have zero impact on my attraction to a girl. He must have found her attractive at some point if he's now an ex. Maybe he lost his initial attraction for whatever reason. I wouldn't care but if my girl wanted to ask me about it I would probably ask her if he said why he didn't find her attractive. Maybe she quit putting in as much effort on her appearance as she did early in the relationship or something similar? All that being said. I don't need outside confirmation to find a girl attractive. I either do or I don't.

Nah, guys aren't like girls in that other guys' opinions about a girl have no effect on what we think. Some women will get skeptical about a guy when another girl has bad opinions about him. In contrast, guys view other men having a bad opinion about a girl as an opportunity. Like, we'll think she's underappreciated and overlooked and that there's less competition for her as a result

I really wouldn't be secretively thinking anything. Because if I felt you were unattractive. Then that means we couldn't make love to each other. And then we wouldn't be together. So, I wouldn't really care what your ex-boyfriend would think. It's his own dumbass fault we're being with somebody that's unattractive to him. Go look around and find somebody that's attractive for you

Most men do not care about ex's or their opinions.. We do care if you bring them up constantly as that suggests you're not over them and is a red flag.
