Would a guy lie about his own place?

I'm getting to know him and it's only four days. Our first talk he told me he stayed with his grandpa but two days later he told me he has his own place and lied about because when most girls find out a guy has his own place they see it as a guy having money.

Open & honest is the way to go & if truth be told if the guy you are getting to know is already lying to you I can only wonder what else he is lying about.
