I had this exact experience with a woman in my neighborhood who I was trying to befriend.

We went out and did a few enjoyable shopping trips and coffee on your front porch things and watched a few movies with her and her husband. But in the few months I knew her, I kept running into brick walls with her: her attitude, how essentially differently we'd been raised, and asides she made about me that that were insulting.

If you've found that your list of "cons" for this man outweighs your list of "Pros" and you've TOLD him so, and he still will not accept what you've said, block him on all your social media accts., unfriend him, if you have to, change your phone number.

The woman I referred to did THE EXACT SAME THING after I sat down with her in person, thanked her for the positive interactions we'd had, and told her we couldn't remain friends because of X, Y, Z. I spoke to her for 20 minutes.

She made no response and no apology, though I apologized for not being able to continue our friendship.

A few days later she texted me and asked if we could go shopping together. I ignored the text and removed her number from my phone. I was stunned. DID SHE NOT HEAR WHAT I'D TOLD HER?

SHE DID NOT. People like this REFUSE TO HEAR. They have some kind of personality disorder you cannot solve.

Keep away from this man, cut him off to protect yourself. Good luck.

He prob has nothing better to do and you clearly a topic on his mind especially if he gives good morning texts. He's in denial that you don't wanna talk to him. Basically you just block him

Likely the fact you have relevance to him still and he has trouble accepting you no longer wish to speak to him. May also be that the person took it lightly and thought you weren't completely serious. May he's just very carefree. There may be more reasons but I suspect the reasons I just mentioned to be the most likely
