I (F26) have been in a relationship with my boyfriend (M29) for 9-10 months.
We went to some party in July. There was a girl there I had the feeling that she didn’t liked me. She talked to my boyfriend and not to me. My boyfriend told me when we got home that they used to be friends and she had asked him to dance and that she would be angry if he didn’t dance with him, and to that he had answered next time.
Now yesterday he tells me they used to have something right before me, but that they didn’t sleep together. And that he asked him to dance so many times and he said he’ll come later and that we had to go because I didn’t feel well. I asked him yesterday why he had to use me in his excuse and go because of her. He said so she could see what she lost and that I take care of my girlfriend. I told him I would probably have ended things if he had danced with her and left alone. He asked me why, I replied because I have seen so many things like that and I am up for it and I know myself I would never do something like that. He said he didn’t understand, he can dance with whole he want and how it was different from dancing with a friend. Then after he said but he also didn’t out of respect for me. He also said she saw he made a party for me (all is from x country, there is a small community, news spread) and she felt jealous
That made me worried. Especially since he lied and talk about it again.
I feel like he is too free with himself and has no boundaries. That together with is old ig, facbook and tik tok following before me and that I saw on some girl he was dating last year for a month or two that he commented she is the love of my life.
Normally we were on a nice couple’s get away when he told me that. Kinda ruinend it. Also for dinner he wanted me to order for him and got annoyed when I asked many times which of two dishes he preferred and when we got to the hotel room after our spa day and dinner he spent two hours watching soccer and then one hour on tik tok

He clearly hasn't moved on as a lot of his actions was based around her at the party so that is a little concerning
Yes exactly. Now the party was months ago but the fact he felt like he needed to bring it up again, that he kept it secret since and that he cared how she felt about what he did for me and now she can see he was serious, etc makes me furious.

Also his comment about me saying I would have left if he danced with her. Maybe we just have different values and morals what we see as acceptable and unacceptable. Saw her twerking and going low.
I think dancing with other people is fine aslong as it's not sexual

Not much u can do past accept it or move on and end things
As he dont seem to see why u would be annoyed
I think it is a bit dramatic to break up over but it annoys me
