Guy want to move in with me?

I met this guy at the the grocery store and I learned that he lives down the street from me. ( what are the odds) We hung out a few times, I met his neighbor and friends. We had a Friendsgiving thing for Christmas it was nice. He recently asked me if he could live with me. I was thrown off a bit because he has his own place? He explained he can’t afford his rent and want me to move in with me until he find a cheaper place.

I’m on the fence because I don’t know him that well. (Only about a month now. ) His neighbors called me today to warn me not to involve myself with him and because he does drug and sleeps around. I put off by that and I didn’t want to be involve and any drama. He is beefing with his neighbors and I don’t know who to believe but I’m worried he will brings drugs, strangers, and drama into my home.

Should I believe what his neighbors is telling me any avoid him or let him stay with me?

Do not let a strange man move in. I am all for equality and feminism, but you don't know this guy and if the rumors prove to be true you will not be able to defend yourself from him or the drama he brings into your life

Consider this, what do you know about him? Very little. So why take the chance?

A good guy will have other options, so if you are his last option then he has made some relationship mistakes along the way and you shouldn't add yourself to that list. He may or may not be as bad as his neighbors say, but it is not your obligation to literally put your life on the line for him.

I don't know because the person that told me all these bad things about him is now asking me if she can move in with me. So I don’t know what to believe.

The fact that he’s beefing with his neighbors is in and of itself a red flag.

Well now his neighbor is moving in with him. After they both tried to convince me that the other person was crazy. So I don't know I just don’t want to be involved at all.
