Does a guy owe you explanation for leaving?

This man I was dating was living on and off in my home. I have 4 kids and I was sorta in between my feelings for my kids father. The man told me today that he can’t leave his wife and that he realized that he was having bad times with me but rather have bad times with the woman he loved. He has a history of bouncing in between women and not staying with anyone

Unfortunately no, but it’s the right thing to do morally and was definitely deplorable. If I were you, I’d put the love aside and my children at the forefront. You shouldn’t have a man in and out of their lives, for the sake of being in a relationship. They deserve stability and shouldn’t get used to such disappointment when he leaves.
