Had a thing going on with a guy for nearly 2 years. Didn't really want to break up but iit didn't seem to be going anywhere, as he didn't want to get committed or move in together. We've been keeping in touch ever since, and he's been helping me out with practical things and I've been borrowing his car for a year. Some weeks ago, he invited me to his house and and I've been staying with him for one month now. We don't have sex, even though I would love to, but we are very comfortable around each other. I haven't been seeing anyone else, and I'm ever onlt talking to the manager at work, which I told him, and he asked if the manager is a man or a woman ( she's a woman). He also asked where my ex and I used to have sex. Why would he even ask if he doesn't want me?

A strange situation but it seems abundantly clear he's trying to test the waters and potentially commit to you. He wants to be certain though. Id say push him, don't waste your time and let him play games
