Guys, Dude acts different with me alone and around other people?

He barely talks to me 1 on 1. And if we talk the conversations are just awkward-ish. We don't even really look at each other or face each other.

But as soon as others join us he will tease me like we have been friends for years or an old married couple and will be super talkactive and jolly, hold a lot of eye contact and just be super playful.

What is the reason for this strenge behaviour?

I wish he was more what he is infront of other people if we are alone but he genuinely doesn't talk to me at all or convos feel forced. I dont get why other people make a difference 😭😭😭

I tried before. We were walking together bc we randomly ran into each other after both of our work and we happened to have to head into the same direction. There was a street Parade about to happen and we even ran into another mutual of ours and both him and I invited him to stay and watch the Parade with us. He did have a few drinks but he said he is just gonna head home bc it's not his cup of tea. I later texted him it would have been so fun if he was still around and if he's okay or if we pressured him too much but he said he doesn't like alcohol, strangers and loud people and music and all that. Was very strange all ngl
