Why do guys act so weird around me?

Why do guys act so weird around me? Normally confident guys get all shy around me-they'll talk to everyone else but ignore me. They'll hug\greet everyone except me...Shy guys can't even make eye contact with me...A lot of guys don't hug me...Though people are always saying you can tell they want to...They will almost look like they're going to, but hesitate and rethink it and don't...Same thing with talking to me...They'll stare and look at me from across the room-but they won't come talk to me...Why?

I know I don't go out of my way to speak to a person unless they smile or something then I will speak most likely..

Reminds me of this girl who will look across the room at me.. walked up close and looked directly at me and I smiled which I guess took her back or something.

But most guys no matter the age, can be intimidated by a beautiful female. It is one thing to be shot down by a girl, but when the girl is really hot. It seems like everyone, sees it happen.

You a girl that if some guy did approach you, and you were not feeling him. Would you turn him down in a kind way, or would you put him on blast in from of everyone.

well...haha I'm Asian and and the only asian\dark haired\almond eye girl in all these places...a lot of people tell me I'm really pretty and have an "amazing smile"...but I don't know ha ha so I think I must be, but I am very shy haha

Well there are 2 possible answers, I might think :)

You either are stunningly beautiful, thus shy guys may place you way out of their league, sort of say. They feel you are way above them. Not to mention most shy guys, (don't know if I am in such a position as to generalise) always disconsider themselves.

Or ...

You either are freakishly weird or something ... and I am trying to be subtle.

But I do guess its my first guess.
