Would I be a bad son if I left my mom when she actually needs me?

i just got a job at cvs but i won't get much hours
so i was thinking i should take a job on a cargo ship or a cruise ship

but i worry about leaving her i help with the bills she is in poor health.
i try to think postive about her health but i always end up thinking the worst i dont mean to.

my mom said she could move in with my sister if she had to.
but i worry as she was homeless for many years when i was taken a way to live with my dad.

she said she did not mind being homeless i worry she would chose to be homeless again.

what should i do?

I might see if there's a way you can remotely/at a distance pay at least her rent. Most other bills are online regardless. So even if you're "away", as long as you have internet, you can log into the online accounts and help pay those bills. If I could at least pay her rent, I'd think she's taken care of. But I think you need to figure out each potential issue out first, before leaving home.

Also, is your sister a good person? If your mom moved in with her, would you be confident that your sister would do the right things to help take care of your mom? If you think your sister is a good person, you might talk with her about it, and offer your sister to help with her rent, her food, and all that, because your mom is living there, and that you'd send her money to help care for mom.

A least she's willing to move elsewhere. Give it a go bt keep in touch when possible. If things get worse then consider moving back. Bt for now, give it a go
