Not baby enough?

I know this sounds super odd. I’m also just as confused by it so I thought why not try and get some other people’s input. But the other day I was hanging out with my boyfriend and we were just talking and he said i’m “not baby enough”. I asked if that’s a good thing or a bad thing? He said that’s for me to figure out. It’s just such a confusing statement and no matter what I can’t seem to think of anything that would make that make sense.

For a bit more context, even though it didn’t help much he does call me a baby a lot. I tend to be super emotional about things and overall really sensitive. I’m also short compared to him so with all those factors combined he always says things like “you’re just a baby”. Never in a bad way or anything, he normally says it in an endearing tone. But anyways in that conversation he said and I quote “You’re a baby, you’re just not baby enough” which even now leaves me confused.

That's a really odd thing to say. I know he told you to figure it out but honestly just ask him. If he can't tell you what that means. I honestly can't think of what that could mean either because when I think of baby as in behavior I think of childish behavior. I doubt he wants you to be more like a baby. Is there any context to the conversation that might give a clue? Like what were you two talking about when he said this. There are usually reasons behind words.
