An innocent man is being framed for attacking me?

I am in a little bit of a tricky situation. We are a group of friends (5 guys and 3 girls). We had a party on campus and I left the group to go to the toilet one of the guys (from our friend circle) chased me and he attacked me sexually. I don’t want to get into the details of that but he filmed me too. The problem is, I told my friends when I went back but I didn’t say who attacked me cause he threatened me with the video. There is a different group of friends that are kind of not friends with us and we beef often on campus on of the guys from that group was blamed for attacking me. Although he is innocent and it was my friend everyone is accusing him of attacking me however I know who attacked me (my friend) and its not him but I don't know how to clear his name without “my friend” leaking the footage? I feel selfish but if someone leaks my video i would literally end my life

The video is evidence of his sexual assault. So it would be ill advised for him to circulate that and you could make that clear.

You can also just say that the guy didn't attack you.

Your real attacker would be insane to release the video tape because it would incriminate him.

I understand it is difficult, but you must come forward or else an innocent person will be punished and a rapist will be free to pursue other victims. If the video is leaked it will incriminate him. I believe the police will take it off the internet quickly. It maybe shown in court, but only there.

Why haven't you gone to the police and tell them who it is and mention the video? They would show up at his door and confiscate his phone as evidence before he could do anything with the video.

Go to the police station and tell the cops this guy assaulted you and has a video of it and is threatening to make it public. Do not tell anybody you are doing this or else he may find out and delete the video

I don’t want him to attack anybody else he attacked me i want him punished too but i am being threatened my family is hella conservative too id get fucked if he leaks it. Its a very heavy burden i feel stuck
