Why is it that when you tell a guy that you know they’re player and have a lot of women they pretend they don’t know what you’re talking about?

Nah. There was a guy I liked, honestly I still like him but I pulled away from him because I noticed he’s just a rather flirty and player type guy. Which, I don’t think is a bad thing. We’re both young and single but I don’t want to get caught in my feelings with knowing he won’t ever won’t anything serious. It was fun to flirt around with him and show interest at first but then I noticed he wasn’t putting in the same energy/effort. It felt like he was just getting a boost off of me liking him just like every other woman who likes him. He can’t even sit down for two seconds without a girl coming and sitting with him and chatting him up. He’s use to attention and he uses it to his advantage and once again he’s not wrong for that but I personally didn’t want to deal with it. So, I pulled away. He noticed and in his own way he questioned it and I told him that I watch him closely and that I caught on to how he moves. I said it playfully though but he knew what I meant because he laughed/smirked and then said “What did I do?” But I didn’t further explain because I know he gets what I mean because he knows what he does.

I mean, I don’t expect to get a boost from him because it seems he’s been playing the same game with women for quite some time now. So using him and getting a reaction out of him to a point it helps boost my self confidence, I can’t see it happening.
