Why would two coworkers try to hide their relationship from me but not from others?

For instance when they would be chatting on teams and saw me entering the office one of them would change their status from „in a call“ to „available“. At first I thought this was just a coincidence but this happened 3 times now. I once overheard him flirting with her and both of them tend to sneak off alone pretty often when they are both in the office. Both of them are married with kids and don’t plan on leaving their partners anytime soon. I know this is not my business but I’m still curious why they would try to hide it from me when everyone already knows since they are always so obvious about it?

Maybe I should. But why aren’t they afraid that others would do it? I mean I’m the newest one among coworkers who have known each other for over 10 years. And given how obvious they act around each other I’m very certain everyone knows

She also acts kind of weird around me. While she is nice and has good eye contact with everyone she avoids eye contact when she talks to me. Also she seemed to hate me from the very beginning despite us not working together at all and no one seems to dislike me as much as she does. Lately i feel like she follows me around to spy on me and she also gives me weird looks over her shoulder when I’m walking somewhere
