I learned something new!

I told a guy I wanted to take things slow and that’s when he backed off and became inconsistent..

Does he think I let everyone hit? Was he offended?

I didn't the one time it happened to me. We were making out and she kissed me back for the longest time. Yet she changed her mind mid-way and said that she felt we were moving too fast.

So after that, no problem, I became completely hands-off but still happy to hang out.

The one thing is that after that, I didn't want to risk making her uncomfortable that way so I made zero moves besides holding her hand for over an entire month.

It was only when she initiated the kiss after that I finally realized she's ready now. So she might have to take over the initiative after that and let me know when she's ready since I don't want to risk crossing any boundaries when she's not.

Some do, but those guys are not the ones you want. He wanted sex right away and when he heard he wasn’t getting it, he bounced. His loss is not your problem.

What do you mean when you say 'with them specifically'?

If it's known that you usually go pretty fast, but then with him you want to take it slow. Then yes, that's a turn-off. The man will most likely feel like you're using him and stringing him along.

However, if this is what you usually do then there's no problem at all. Might actually be a positive in my book, as long as you are actually interested.

Depending on how you communicate it, wanting to take it slow might seem like you are undecided if you are interested.

Only if they believe you're a 304. Then they'd be offended, bc they figure they're being rejected by a 304. If they believe you're a quality female who is guarding her reproductive resources, they would not be offended. In fact, they would probably be happy to learn that and quite willing to take things slow.

But as you've said, you have some risque photos online, which is 304'ish, so your signals might be mixed. Might be time to update those pics.

I'm the same way. I'm a guy but I'm weird because I respect women and want love not just sex. Guys think I'm a loser. I would be perfectly fine with it. A woman is not a sex machine/ toy. Guys assume that if she's not a virgin there was some other guy before him that got to hit it in a short amount of time. When you tell a guy that he thinks you just aren't that into him and are just stringing him along to get his attention and resources. Why would I take it slow when Chad and Tyrone didn't have to?
