Guys, Why would a guy I just met online ask me a lot about how often other men hit on me?

Hmm that is a kinda weird question for a guy you just met online to keep asking. A few possibilities:

- He might be insecure and wanting to gauge how much attention you get from other dudes. Like making sure you're not out of his league or something.

- Could be trying to figure out if you're really looking for something serious or just getting a lot of dates/attention.

- Might have trust/jealousy issues already if he's that focused on other guys hitting on you so soon.

- Could be a red flag and he's looking to control/isolate you from other options by harping on it.

- Might have the wrong idea about online dating and thinks it's all about getting attention, not meaningful connections.

- Could be using it as an excuse to keep the conversation focused on you instead of learning about him.

Honestly it's not a good sign that he's so hung up on other guys this early. I'd be skeptical of his intentions if he can't stop asking that. A normal guy who wants something real would want to get to know YOU, not how many dudes message you. I'd be careful with this one sis!

I would say because he tries to figure out how popular are with guys. It could be because he wants to be sure that you´re also interested in a monogamous relationship and it could be that he hasn´t much experience with a relationship. So it´s him evaluating whether he can imagine a relationship with you.

he's insecure and has fear of loss. i mean quite obviously he's trying to learn if there's competition that might take you away from him. that's quite literally and directly what his question is asking.
