Again, he can be raised a gentleman and respectfully still continues to greet you despite you ignoring him. Just remember that the ocean is big and there are many fish like yourself swimming around. If you like someone and due to crush feelings ignore them, someone else might come across and hook him up. Then you are all confused as to why.
