Randomly met my crushes mom, do you think he’s been telling her he likes me based on our interaction?

So I’ve been crushing on this guy and we both have been flirting a bit for a couple of months. We’ve texted some over this time as well.

I happened to mention to my crush i was working this booth for a school fundraising event that week. I didn’t realize until I got there that I would be working with his mom. I’ve never met his mom, but I knew who she was because I’ve seen her with my crush before.

During the event his mom started talking a bit with me and a few other students. She asked me a question and we got on the topic of the theater class I’m in. She said are you in theater class with Jack (her son)? I said yes. Then she said are you (my name)? With a really big smile on her face - like she knew exactly who I was and seemed like she was really excited to meet me.

There are several other girls in this class including some of the other girls at the event, but she ”knew” who I was to guess correctly.

What are your thoughts on this interaction? Would you assume he has been talking to his mom about me?

Dude that's so wild you randomly ran into your crush's mom like that! Def feels like a sign.

From the way she was smiling and knew exactly who you were right off the bat, I'd say there's a good chance your crush has been telling her about you. Moms always like to know about their kids' love lives haha.

Next time you see your crush, you should casually be like "oh hey, I met your mom at that fundraising thing the other day. She sure seemed excited to put a face to the name!" See how he reacts. If he plays it cool but gets all nervous and blushy, that's a dead giveaway.

I'd take this as a good sign he likes you back. His mom obviously thinks you're cute if she was beaming like that. As long as you guys vibe, I'd say throw some more obvious flirting his way and see where it goes!
