Is it possible that the guy I talk to is also addicted to drugs?

I talk a guy. He has a goth style and also he sings. My ex also had a goth style and he also sang. However I broke up with him because he was a drug addict. So I told that guy about my ex. All goth men are drug addicts? Is it possible? Maybe the guy i talk to is a drug addict too?

Wow for real? My boyfriend was a metalhead and he was a drug addict. It was terrible. But now the guy i talk to is a metalhead too. Which is why i'm afraid. Maybe he uses but he doesn't tell me

Well I used to be a metalhead, banf member, so on. Drugs were no less common there than elsewhere.

Its a wide group. You have the self destructive but also the classical music types. Metal is after all the closest musical style to classical music like Mozart etc.

If he has frequent mood swings and has unexplained absences he could be using. If he is frequently without money or has problems holding a job those could also be red flags
