He is mad at me, but replies immediately to my texts. How to handle the situation?

I wanted to see him, but he said he is is hurrying to somewhere and I gor in his car preventing from going immediately.

He got mad for me blocking his way out and started yelling. I got out and he left.

Later texted him to tell me If he got safe home and he did. He replies really fast although I thought he would just ignore me.

How to apologize and handle this?

He does care about you that's why even when he is upset he gives reply to you. You never ever try to take advantage of his this goodness, softness and care what he has for you.

Also no matter what but never ever try to use what's important for them to hold them. For example it was important for him to go somewhere so it was wrong for you to stop him like this. Even in fight keep some boundaries and decency to not hit on those areas which are important or never use someone's weaknesses.

Now how to apologise? Simply genuinely do apologise whenever you could do, or you can compensate it by doing something good for him like by cooking some good meal or treating him with whatever he likes and with genuine apology in clear words with promise to not repeat it in future.
