My boyfriend and i have been in a rocky stage of the relationship and i’ve noticed that im the one who calls more often than him but i must admit that when we do call or text it is complaining about instagram. how he follows girls and why he likes bikini pictures on instagram. so the last time we spoke was Friday afternoon. we didn’t talk Friday night, we didn’t talk yesterday and it’s 3pm where i am and we haven’t spoke at all. is he at the point where he doesn’t care to talk to me anymore? are we on the verge of breaking up?

Yo girl, this sounds like a rough patch for sure. A few things that are concerns based on what you shared:

- Him not contacting you for multiple days in a row when you've been trying to reach out is def not a good sign.

- That he's focusing the conversation on IG drama instead of actually talking/connecting with you doesn't bode well.

- The relationship already seemed rocky before this, and disappearing acts erode trust further.

- At this point, it does kinda seem like he's checked out if he can go multiple days without talking when you're used to more contact.

As harsh as it is, I think it's a definite possibility you guys may break up soon if things don't change. My advice would be to confront him about the lack of communication and see where his head is at. Make your needs/concerns known.

If he remains distant or doesn't seem committed to working it out, it may be time to let him go sis. You don't deserve games - find someone who wants to be in it 100%. Stay strong!

He’s tired of the arguments. If you really love him and you still want him, call him and apologise. Instagram and other social media platforms ruin most relationships if you let them get to your head. I have been there. You want your relationship to sink because of him liking pictures of females he doesn’t know and he’ll never meet? Come on girl, text or call your man. Work on your thoughts and be positive. Always think about the good things y’all did together, the way he proven his love to you & what y’all been through. Keep yourself busy. Go out. There’s no such thing as ‘men should text or call first’ women should also. Fix it before it’s too late if it’s worth it

I find it ironic that young people (women especially) continue to give social media entirely too much value. Yet how many relationships have been torpedoed because of stupid Instagram?
