Me and this guy work together and I was over at this guys place this past weekend because he wanted to cook for me since I got promoted at work. Long story short we ended up having sex and I just hung out with him until the next morning. Ever since then I didn’t hear from him so I reached out to him yesterday and had a conversation with him. We were talking about watching this movie while I was over so I asked him when we’ll be watching it together and he said soon we will. In my head I’m like ok cool but if he doesn’t follow up on it, I’m dropping this guy. What should I do

Okay well he unfortunately took the opportunity of you getting promoted as a sly way to get you to his home in order to sleep with you. So now that you have slept with him he got what he wanted. Dont chase him. He isn't worth keeping around.

I know but it’s hard because we spent a lot of time together and I started to fall for him. I know I need to get over him

Then stop falling and get up, you have to get your emotions out of it. Ask yourself this: Do you want to invest in someone who only sees the value of whats in between your legs or someone who values all of you? because once he get tired of that he will move on. Your worth is more than your emotions.

Maybe mention hanging out again, or saying your free on a certain day, but nothing more than that. If he doesn't respond, then don't waste any more time on him.
