Does my friend sound jealous?

I was talking about a guy with her and how I’m interested in him. Me and him actually had a period were we didn’t speak and we unfollowed each other. During that time she refused to unfollow him. Also when I asked her to show his profile she refused and was as like ” why did you even unfollow him? Just to prove something to him? ”

I found it weird comment from her.

Now that he’s started to show signs that he wants to reconcile. She’s started to make feel
Insecure by saying ” I don’t think he’s the one for you. His sister are all flawless and know how to do their makeup. What if he compares you to him?

I wouldn’t leap right to the conclusion she’s jealous. There are two sides to any story and absent her perspective it’s hard to conclude.


On the surface, does she sound jealous? No. Not really. Jealous of what? There is literally nothing here. Just a very odd sequence of following and not following then following again some guy on social media. She’s insecure, immature, and on top of this all there are significant maturity issues being imported into the situation by everybody involved including the male.
