y friends always tease me about how I get the most attention (not being cocky, it’s their words) and suddenly I’ve noticed one of them seems to be competing.
when I get hit on she says “oh he tried it with me first then came to you” or “oh he was looking at me first then he came to u coz I said no” even if the guy hasn’t acknowledged her.
I don’t care about male attention but I don’t want a friend who’s jealous or constantly competing , she’s started to do this almost every time someone hits on me and it has kind of made me insecure but I don’t know if this was her plan all along or what. What do u think?

Sounds like to me she is competing. Or trying to say she’s better than you, maybe jealous as well. That doesn’t sound like a “friend” to me. I would never say something like that to my friend. Like she’s trying to one up you. I never been jealous of my friend. But I understand how that makes you feel insecure. But a REAL friend wouldn’t make you feel that way. She should be there to uplift you not drag you down. But even if they texted her first, you’re still attractive just as much as she is! But personally my friend and I wouldn’t text guys that the other friend has texted before. But we never said something like that to each other. We just seen the guy as dumb for trying to text us both and trying to play games. But just please watch out, because people will low key be jealous or don’t even like you and waiting on your downfall but the whole time try to be you’re friend‼️
