Why would a guy who used to like you still view your story?

There was this guy who liked me a few years ago but I rejected him. On top of that I was kinda mean to him but not in a way of complete dismissal of his advances. I did talk to him like how friends or acquaintances would. But my personality could be fun, dry, and ruthless at the same time. Very dependent on my mood tbh. It's just my personality nothing deeper than that at all. He constantly texted me everyday. I didn't mind at first but over time it was weary and overbearing so I often went off on him about that. Sometimes when I felt bad but didn't wanna talk I just replied very indifferently. He then stopped and we never really talk again. I recently noticed that he hasn't stopped viewing every story of mine even after everything has ended between us. I admit though I might have hurt his feelings.

People take this whole story deal too seriously. Some people like or view everything they see on social media. It doesn't mean they're obsessed, in love, or even like the person. It could just be curiosity, or maybe they just spend too much time on social media.

I was just wondering. Cuz in my case when I still view a guy I used to like religiously like that it means I'm still hung up on him. I just wanna know if it works the same way

You girls think looking at those stupid stories means so much... uh no? You think it has signiifcance because that is what you would do (keep looking at them) Guys don't think like that.
Why does it matter to you anyway? Sounds like you treated him bad and weren't interested anyway... so... I don't get it... is it an ego thing?
