Why does my boyfriend send me pictures of flowers when I tell him I’m upset about something?

I would confront him about something hurtful he told me and he would just ignore it and send me pretty pictures of sunsets or roses from his garden. Why? Does he even like me still?

Because he's trying to cheer you up, and doesn't know that you (evidently) want him to do something different. Remember, he's your boyfriend- not your therapist, and definitely not your mind reader. If you want him to do something, ASK HIM.

I told him that he doesn’t really love me since he doesn’t show it. Instead of denying it he just sends me pretty pictures

You said "you don't show me that you love me", and he responded by engaging in a gesture intended to show love. What did you expect?
