That's a guy at my work (37M) and I'm 26(F) and he is a driver and I work in the office. He meet at least once a day coz he has to hand me his documents daily and the most 4 times a day where we have face-to-face interactions. We know each other for around 2 months.
I really felt he was attracted to me initially because he used to do this thing daily: Handing me his documents and staring silently in my eyes even after I say "ok, thank you" and he wouldn't look away until he walked away or he would often stare at me while driving and he had to pass me. We lock eyes daily at least once if not everytime we meet.
And so I took it as a sign and I started texting him, he is so polite and answer my texts in long sentences but he doesn't ask me back anything. And he never smiles at me too when staring.
So after I felt he is okay with me approaching him in text I went to him and started a conversation. We talked for like 5 mins and there were smiles and awkward silences and a bit of staring at each other during the silence but the whole conversation felt pleasant.
Today he called someone in front of me on the phone and didn't make much eye contact. And he reminded me to not forget to add something on his document. And then he was like "good. Bye" and staring at his papers while he said this when he would usually stare at me. He seemed like he was stressed about something.
Or he doesn't like me and he wants me to stop liking him, I don't know what to do now. I can't tell if he is shy or not interested. Should I still try to talk to him next time? Does he sees me as a kid? There are 2 other men at this company that claim I'm so pretty and flirt with me daily , including trying to hold my hand everytime they see me but they are totally different type than this guy. So I'm prob cute to him too but I don't know what to do, I like him so much.
