Am I overthinking if I'm slightly put off by the reasons my boyfriend gave to have children?

My boyfriend and I were discussing having children, and I confessed that I was a little scared because he's over 6 feet tall and well built, so I'll have to carry a giant ass kid lol. He then said that it would be so good, because then the kid would be super tall, because I'm also pretty tall (I'm 5'8). I then said I was still scared, he replied by saying that the kid would be a "mix breed". I told him that it's a kid not a dog lol. He then continued stressing on the point that our kids would look great because of both of our genetics, and that they'd be a "superior breed". Somewhere I felt that he only wants kids for the sake of genetics. Am I overreacting by feeling this way? I haven't said anything to him about it, at least not yet.
