I have lots of female 'friends' on FB. But it has nothing to do with sexuality. I never used it as a dating app. I see no difference between men and women when it comes to sharing information.
I have some of the smartest and best informed people in the world as FB 'friends', although many of them moved to other apps when FB started only allowing people to share info that suited its ideology.

It means they’re very insecure and trying to show off to their friends “ooo I have a lot of hot girls on my friends list”. It also means they might be a player, because my ex had a lot of female friends on fb and he talked to most of them and flirted with some.
