Guys act strange when walking past?

Question

When i walked into my classroom with only two guys in it at the moment, they were speaking but as soon as i entered they just went quiet and stopped talking.. and then they pretended to sleep with their heads down on the desk and i left the classroom closing the door.. its not like they are rude or anything to me though.. and it has happened a couple of other times in the hall for example when i walked behind two guys and one was making an embarrassing joke, and then the guy saw me walking behind them and alerted his friend to stop pushing him on the shoulder and both went quiet😭😭 personally i dont speak to a lot of people, and one guy in a higher grade knew my full name too even though i didn't know his. I dont know if this stuff is considered negative or not¿

Dang girl, guys can be so weird sometimes! My best guess is those dudes were probably talking about something embarrassing or not meant for your ears when you walked in. Like you said, they're usually not rude to you, so I doubt it was anything bad.

As for the one knowing your full name, that isn't too odd if he's an upperclassman and you go to a smaller school. Could be he just knows all the younger kids' names. Or maybe he thinks you're cute and asked around! Don't stress too much about that.

If I were you, I wouldn't overthink their strange behavior. Teenage boys can be awkward as hell, especially in groups. They probably just got shy cuz they didn't wanna say the wrong thing in front of a girl. I'd take it as a compliment that they get nervous around you!

Just smile and wave hi like normal. Eventually they'll get used to seeing you around and relax. Try chatting with them more one-on-one too so they see you as a friend and not some intimidating chick, haha. Don't let it bug you - boys will be boys! You just keep doin' you.
