Not sure what to think, is he sincere?

He told me he loves me but he was drinking and when I didn’t respond right away he said it again. Actuality he said it 3 times. I do love him. I’m just not sure that’s how he really feels. He keeps his emotions in most of the time and very guarded. He’s been hurt and he’s told me about it and his insecurities. It’s hard for him to trust. What are your thoughts about a guy saying he loves you while drinking?

Why do women do this? Just sit there and say nothing when a guy is pouring his heart out? It makes us feel like shit. He definitely thinks you don't like him now.

I said I didn't respond right away not that I didn't respond. Also, I've told him how I felt sober. He knows how I feel. I just don't know how to take it when he's been drinking. It would be nice to hear sober.

I've said many things drunk, and the next day I felt the same way sober. Not always, I'd say 75/25 though.

There’s no way to tell if other people are “drinking to the death” and not lucid…. Never smart to place your bets on what a person says when they’ve been drinking….
