Stranger guy smiles at me?

I was waiting at the railway station for the train and stood there when i saw a random guy walking in front of me and he smiled at me kindly. What does that mean or why would a guy do that?

Politness or flirtation or sonething else? Chnaces of approaching later and how?

Hmm that's interesting. A few possibilities:

- He could just be being friendly and polite by smiling. Guys don't always have an agenda.

- But it's also possible he thought you were cute and smiled to see if you'd smile back as like a subtle flirtation thing.

- Hard to say for sure from one smile! Guys do that sometimes to test the waters.

- If you find him attractive, you could try smiling back next time to see how he reacts. Might encourage him to approach.

- Or you could approach him casually, like ask the time or about the train schedule. See how the convo goes.

- If he seems interested in chatting more, you've got an in to exchange numbers or socials maybe.

- But if he just smiles again and keeps walking probably just being polite/didn't mean anything by it.

Who knows! Could be worth a friendly smile back or hello if you see him again to test the flirty waters. Nothing to lose right?

Some people just smile to be polite , , was he checking you out after that? If not he was just being friendly , but if you noticed him looking at you after that , than he probably has the hits for

People can do that and mean absolutely nothing.

I've passed people before and smiled as an acknowledgment.
