Why did my husband roll his eyes at me over a small matter?

So me and my husband was going to the gym. We go on base to the military because I was in the military but this is a new base I've never been to. So I we were walking inside and he was all like "where's you card?". I said " it's in my purse" then he said with annoyed look on his face "why don't you have your card out?". I said " I'll get it out when we go inside... ". Then he rolled his eyes at me I'm like what. I caught that, it was basically over nothing not even a big deal.

Because most men like being prompt, on time, don’t like to wait even if it’s a second or two. So w that said knowing that you’re going to a gym he thinks you should have already had your card out. He probably doesn’t like waiting for things like that, plus when you’re in line waiting on her cause she’s fumbling through her purse looking for her debit card or something it’s annoying. Not just annoying to you but to others who are also waiting in line. It’s the same as when you go to McDonalds or whatever restaurant you pull up to, you should know what you want already. It’s not like you’ve never been there before. Yes ok maybe you’ve never been there but it does get annoying when you’re w someone and they don’t know what they want. But the person knew we were going there ahead of time, the menus never really change. So when we have to sit there for like 5 minutes cause you’re still trying to figure out what you want it’s annoying. My girl will say she’s ready to go so then I get dressed in a couple minutes. I’m walking out the door to start the car, but then I’m still waiting on her cause now she has to use the restroom or something else. I know I’m like this. I spent about 10 years in the military so for me things were expected to be done on time, prompt.

If it bothers you. You can communicate with him about if he noticed. You have to speak to him in a kind matter like when sitting down and having a cup of coffee/tea…

“I just remember the other day… while … “ did you know you do that?
if he says no… then you can laugh it off and tell him it’s kinda silly yet it can come off as annoying mood feeling…

So it depends how you deliver this and how you want the changes.

Yeah he was raised with an abusive dad. I wasn't mad at the moment but after I thought about it made me feel dumb.
