I have a guy friend at work. When he came to my wedding, he was condescending towards my husband and kept hugging me.

He has made some comments occasionally about my husband at work. He once asked why I picked him. Today, he was making a joke about how he wanted to interrupt our wedding vows and “marry my husband”….

Another person asked why he wanted to marry my husband, and he said “have you not seen him?” And then made a joke saying I’d been fighting off other girls for him. Basically, my husband is overweight and short and used to get a lot of rejection

Sounds pretty disrespectful, yeah. I'm not sure why he's being that way, but he might think you could do better or something.

This is probably something you'd be better off just asking your coworker directly.
