Im in a 4 year relationship with a divorced man. His ex gives me problems and his oldest daughter stays away from me. Oh by the way background, he cheated on her for 3 years. I am not the side but at least he was honest telling me his story.

I rarely say anything negative about the ex only when she purposely does things to try and sabotage our relationship.

Yesterday he and I were laying in bed and I said a few negative things then I said I showed her pictures to a few friends and they couldn't believe that's his ex wife and how I smoke her out of the water. She's indian and occasionally wears a dot and those holiday outfits, I'm blonde blue eyed and a fitness buff.

I immaturely said I asked if they thought she was hot and every one said no way. I told him this in the bed and he says can we stop. Stop talking about this.

Then he called me a few hrs later from work to say he respects me for what I go through etc so please don't talk next time. Then I got mad and said this is coming from a man that disrespected her for 3 years cheating

He's a horrible communicator so I'm taking it as dont talk about my ex.

Anyway I know I was immature but she starts problems and she's always acting like she's a model it's sickening. She has photos of herself just everywhere.

Why did he get mad? Respect? He thinks she's hot? Guilt?
