He said to me during texting that he didn’t want to continue to date. Then I deleted him from my instagram same night. I called couple days later. He said that he wanted to call me but when he noticed that I had removed him from instagram he didn’t call me. First of all if he had called me what would he had even said to me? I don’t understand since he didn’t want to date…

Why did you call him? He'd already said he wasn't interested. When he said he was going to call you, it may have been just a white lie since you had called him and he didn't know what to say. Don't overthink it :)

Correct. Dunno about you, but when my phone rings and i'm not expecting a call from someone, my mind kinda freezes and i answer it anyway, thinking "i wonder what he/she wants". Unless there's been an argument and i'm already prepared to ignore it.

It clearly wasn't a long relationship, and wasn't a bad break-up. He probably thought you'd be as cool about it as he was, so blocking him seems a little intense for such a relaxed relationship - in his eyes.

Then why, just a couple of days earlier, did he say he didn't want that from you? He'll mess you around until he finds someone he wants more, and then do the same again. I can't tell you what to do, no one can, but i can tell you that life is way too short to waste your precious time on people (not just boyfriend's) that will only half-commit to you. Your head needs to rule your heart for a short while, surely he will still be there if you go on a couple of dates with other people?

We all need that someone who makes us feel special, wanted, loved. That kind of person would never say "I don't think we should date anymore", because that special type of person is 100% fully invested in the relationship from the get-go, and they will tell you so.
