Small break? Please help?

A guy and I were supposed to hang but we didn't due to a family situation for him which is fair enough. And gave him my support and he was abit vulnerable with some feelings when saying he wasn't okay. What was suppose after was he wanted a small break after this hang (which didn't happen!)

Then he suggested But we can hang out maybe next week? Or Sunday.

I don't know if I shoudk just put an end to this. Cause originally he wanted a small break after Thursday and I feel like he is bring up doing hang on Sunday or next week. Is to make me to be not disappointed? Help pls..

Ugh girl, this whole situation sounds so confusing! A few thoughts:

- The break talk is kinda odd since you never even had the planned hangout. Makes me question if there's something else going on.

- The fact he wants to extend the break even longer by suggesting next week or Sunday instead of re-scheduling right away is kinda weird too.

- Is he actually upset about the family thing, or using that as an excuse for something else? Seems fishy.

- If he's being vulnerable, maybe it's a way to get sympathy but keep you kinda on the back burner in the meantime? Not cool.

My sense is he may be sending mixed signals and not being fully honest about what he wants or needs right now. I'd be direct and ask him what's really up - you deserve clarity, sis!

If he can't give you a straight answer or make a solid plan to hang soon, I'd seriously consider moving on from this confusing situation. You don't wanna be anyone's second choice or left hanging! You're mega catch and don't settle for games. Let me know what you decide, I'm here for ya!

Some of the language is confusing on this one... How long was this break? More than a week? If it's dragging on past a week, you can send one SHORT text like "see you Sunday?" and if he answers, great, if he doesn't, just move on.

If it's been less than a week and you're just being nervous, just leave him alone and he'll text you whenever he can within the week. (And again, if not, move on.)

Well I am not sure, cause he wanted a break and then since we didn't hang out yesterday. He suggested do next week or Sunday. I feel like he only suggested to hang again just so I am not disappointed or he is genuinely want to hang out

This creature seems to be very unstable honestly
