Do men sexualize every woman they see?

I’m curious to know if men think sexually of all women they see (ones they find attractive) like their friend, coworkers etc? Is it possible for men to build platonic relationships and not once fantasize or dream about women in their lives? Ones that they are not dating or pursuing?

Think about it this way: if you hadn't eaten anything in a week or 10 days - nothing but water - do you think you would be obsessed with food - any kind of food, anywhere you saw or smelled it? I think so too. However, if you were eating 3 meals a day, chances are that you're not going to be overly obsessed with food - there's no scarcity for you.

This is much like it works for men. Most men are in a constant state of sex scarcity. They are starving for sex, and so, yes, they sexualize nearly any remotely attractive and remotely age-appropriate woman, and they can't be platonic with any girl - it's just not possible. Of course, SOME guys have girlfriends, and a small percentage are so attractive that girls literally sneak into their rooms and cars and follow them around in the hopes that the guy will bang her - and neither of those guys have a problem being platonic with most women (many still won't, but it's not that they couldn't, it's just that they aren't interested).

Most women simply cannot grasp men's NEED and super strong desire for sex - with ANY reasonably decent woman - when they aren't getting any. Nearly every woman knows she could go outside and within 30 minutes or less, she could find a guy who would be happy to bang her (not saying it's the man of her dreams or anything, but if the goal was just to get laid, the vast majority of girls could find a guy for that VERY easily and quickly). But that's now how it works for most men - most men have to work very hard in multiple areas to raise their status enough to get a woman interested in him - and over the last 10-15 years, social media and dating apps have given women access (virtual access) to the entire globe's men, and all that did is send women's expectations into the stratosphere. Most men can't compete with that today, which is why you have the top 10% of guys banging damn near every girl, and the bottom 50-60% of guys can't get a girl to look his way unless he's carrying cash or a gun. There's a few in the middle that have managed to raise their status enough to get a girlfriend, or at least some casual sex once in a while, but while they used to be the norm, today they are the exception.

MOST men are STARVING for sex, though, so, yes, those men are going to sexualize virtually all women. You would too if you were in a man's position.

During puberty and peak hormones and horniness matched with a lack of actual sexual activity, guys will have sexual thoughts about pretty much any woman that is not completely hideous. Yes that includes female friends that they swear up and down they have no attraction to whatsoever. If you had male friends at all in middle or high school there’s a 90% chance you popped into their head while they were choking their chicken at least once.

The young, horny male mind wanders to all kinds of inappropriate places and men gradually grow out of it and learn to keep it in their pants and reserve their lust for that actual girlfriend or wife.

At least most decent men do that. Some have wandering eyes. But even then it becomes more about admiring female beauty rather than screwing random chicks in your head.

To your main question. It depends on the man.

Is it possible for men to build platonic relationships and not once fantasize or dream about women in their lives? Yes. But is it possible for them to not once fantasize or dream about you in their lives? We don't know. Because we don't know you and how you treat men.

Men generally take what you give them. If you give the sexual energy then they going respond that way. If you give them platonic energy then they're going to respond that way.

I'd say it's possible to build a purely plutonic relationship with a woman I find attractive but not always.

Maybe it depends on what you mean by "ones they find attractive."

I can find women attractive but not necessarily SEXUALLY attractive.

But if I find a woman sexually attractive it's pretty hard not to fantasize about her.

Truth? Yes, we role play and asses every desirable woman we see. Can we do platonic? ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY if you're MATURE enough to get past "i would rock her world..." There have been MANY women i admire their mind, soul and presence as platonic equals.

Men have a caveman part of the brain where they evaluate every woman as a breeding partner. It is mostly done subconsciously. Women do the same thing.
