Why he ask me to text him first?

I get it, some guys want to be texted first as well, just like girls do.

But here’s the catch, i hate waiting for replies. I have tried before and he will always take at least 30mins to reply.. And everytime he question me first, i will always say the truth that i hate the way he never reply. Yet he still has the audacity to complain and to ask me to text him first💀

He say its always him the one who text first. And he also say, maybe instead of texting, i can call him because if calling, chances of him missed it is lower💀

I do get it but you are age 18-24, so I don't know if you are working on anything in your life or may have too much free time lol. It is actually healthy to do other things in your spare time than wait for a boy who doesn’t make time OR he may be busy doing other things with his life too. It might be some space of growth you need to work on as nobody can be on their phone that much every min, some mins, half hour and such unless they really isn’t doing a thing in their life lol or neglecting responsibilities and themselves.
I’m sure he wants to see you put effort and he may likes a girl who takes initiative. But if you’re not that type of girl nor wanna grow in that area, you guys are incompatible.

To be frank, i dont mind doing that if he is my boyfriend or at least someone that i know for sure like me as well. Or else i feel like im just wasting my own energy on someone that i won't even get

How dare he take 30 minutes to repl! That is just crazy! I mean any decent human being will place their life on hold when they get a text. I also don't think things are going to chage for you when you just gripe about it. You say he has the audacity to complain and then you go and do the same thing.

How is your complaining justified and his is not? He also gives you an alternative by telling you to call him instead. So of the two of you he is the one that gives the compromise or solution to the situation. What is the problem? Again you say he complains but all you have done yourself is complain in the post. The irony.

Cuz he is always on his phone 24/7… so by no means he can accidentally missed my text. When we are together, everytime he get a notification, he will check..
Also, calling just to say 1 word is kinda waste of effort
