Why do men just over sexualize?

I'm an attractive curvy woman and people generally believe that I've had cosmetic surgeries. I haven't had any and people swear that I'm lying but I ignore the stupidity. Why do men automatically sexualize me? I dress classy and carry myself like a respectable woman. They also make horrible assumptions about me like I'm actually a gold digger, whore, or just someone not to respect. I've literally never had my first kiss before and I'm 24 years old. But when people see me they literally think the worst about me. Women automatically hate me as well. They try to paint me as if I'm out to “get their man” because I'm friendly. I'm normally pushed out of social circles. But what is up with men and very sexual behaviors. It makes me uncomfortable..

Yeah there are assholes who will think you are dressing a certain way (just to get attention), you got your boobs done (since you like men fucking your brains out), and that your entire existence is based on one thing (sex, sex, sex, and being used by men for sex)

It is moronic, immature, stupid and needs to stop. There are men who are also so caught up in the ‘culture wars’ they’ll just assume a woman is trans then harass her as such even when she isn’t. Ugh!

There's the expression "boys will be boys" -- and if you're actually 24, then you're getting the attention of the guys your age as well as a few older "boys" who can't help but notice your appearance.

I'm also relatively outgoing at social and professional gatherings because that's basically my job. Guys will pay attention and a few will blatantly stand close enough to look down my blouse without a second thought, or to stare at my figure while they're talking to or about me. While I of course notice it, it's important to ignore it and just subtly shift away so they don't have such a plain view.

I don't know if you can always call it "sexualizing" because they're really just admiring your physical attractiveness and often the way your personality or charisma make you even more appealing to them.

If they say something inappropriate or stare blatantly without engaging you, then THAT is sexualizing and completely inappropriate.

Now that I'm older I actually wish that I let the walls down a little more as a teen to experience a good guy in some way. So that I wouldn't have negative emotions towards men.

No, no, no... even as a teen, some of us will just get too too much attention. You're fine as you are. Chin up and just try to stay positive. (Also, don't slouch just bc you're trying to "shrink" your shape so guys don't look at you that much. You'll end up attracting a whole bunch of weirdos and ruin you posture a the same time. Too many girls do that.)

image. how do you present yourself in public and what does your attitude say? do others see you as you imagine yourself to be? We rarely see ourselves as the world see's us. If you're sexy and beautiful plus friendly then women are going to hate you because of that alone, you're a big threat to them even if you do mean to be. Men on the other hand can be crude and without a clue on what a woman truly is. You need to expand your circle of men to include the good men that are out there, but you have to find them as they are not always obvious and simple observations may not reveal them to you. Keep faith in yourself to find a good man and don't loose hope because of a few idiots, anything worthwhile takes time and effort.

For the reason women over-emotionalize. It's the way our genders are wired. But there's a level for both that is considered acceptable. Men are called pigs when the OVERsexualize and women are called overdramatic when they OVERemotionalize.
