Does he like me or does he just want to be friends?

I met this guy (Charlie) at a music festival about 2 months ago. He was a friend of some friends (Josh and Paula) that were also there. I felt like we all immediately clicked and it seemed like everyone was having a great time. The conversation remained a group one, but I noticed he was trying to direct more questions to me. This might have just been his attempt to get to know me, since we were the only 2 that didn't already know each other.

At the end of the festival, as we are leaving, he asks for my insta (while the group is still around) "so we can keep in touch" and also says that he thought I was really fun to be around. I give it to him, because I also had a great time.

A couple days later he messages me "great concert, right?" and we end up talking for a couple days. Eventually, he asks to hang out and we meet up at a Starbucks.

Here's where it might just be friendly:

He is super nice and makes lots of jokes but the conversation stays light-hearted. He seems friendly but it doesn't seem like he's expecting anything more. We end up staying longer than planned, so I assume he's having a good time. He also continues to text me after. It seems like a normal friendly conversation again but he also lets me know that he likes talking to me.

Maybe I'm naive, but I can't tell if he likes my personality but just wants to be friends, or if he likes me and is trying not to come off too strong.

Advice please?
