So I know this guy from my Sunday school. Last summer we all went on a church trip together and there we took some pics together that day (with our friends) and he texted me that night to send him the pics. Ever since the trip this guy always texted me on holidays (Christmas, New Year, Easter etc.) But most times our conversations were just small talk nothing too deep. A few weeks back he texted me again for a holiday and we were kinda having a longer convo and exchanging voice messages. Last Sunday he first asked me when I am usually free and I said weekend and he's like that's good. Then he asked me for my number and he called me on Wednesday evening and we talked like 45 minutes on the phone. It was not really a flirty convo or something. Then at the end of our convo he was like "Don't think I'm crazy for talking this much to you on the first day, I'll call you tomorrow around the same time" I said ok and we hung up. That was 2 days ago. He didn't call me yesterday and I'm asking myself why he said he will call me but didn't? Why did he ask for my number in the first place, call me one day randomly and tell me he will call me back? Is he trying to be friends with me or does he have other intentions? I'm not gonna lie I was kinda thinking about him the whole day yesterday and waiting for his call in the evening. Of course I didn't call him or text him indeed I have never even texted him first. I don't want to seem desperate or anything. Am I overreacting?
Does he like me or is he just trying to be friends?

My girl 'friend" and I, like each other, but she has trust issues and isn't looking to date right now. She wants to have sex right now, I told her, well, we can take it slow, and that if push comes to shove I'll back off
Huh?
basically, just cause you like each other, doesn't mean anything. it just means, you have to decide what is is you're looking for, and hope that he wants the same
wants to smash
Tbh he doesn't seem that type of guy. He never was flirty or talked to me about sexual things. Ofc I don't even know him like that but he seems to have morals and be respectful to say the least
You think he'll turn it down if you offer?
Tbh I could imagine he is waiting for marriage since he's very involved with his religion so yes, maybe...
So why don't you ask him if he's waiting for marriage?
Huhhh so he thinks I wanna marry him? Lol that'd be weird tbh
where did that come from?
I said to ask a question; that's it.
Well if I asked this type of question he'd definetely think I'm interested in him thats what i mean...
So make your reason for asking clear
What do you mean?
