Unless there's a relevant reason to (picking a basketball team, or putting together a boxing match, etc.), then, no. Being tall isn't going to make someone a better doctor, or salesman, or engineer, or friend, so that's not something that we worry about. We only care when it's directly relevant to something that's going on.

I don't... the sole reason for that is because I have been bullied a lot when I was a child due to always being the smallest and I know how much it can affect someone.

(In the end I have turned out alright, while 5'6 is not tall for a guy; it's also not classed as being 'Small'. It's on the lower end of Average)

Sure, there are of course exception in which I would 'raise an eyebrow'... but that usually comes down to a few factors and not height on its own.

For certain things yea...

Sports, a fight, competition with girls, etc...

Don't want shorter guys in a lot of sports.

If the guy is smaller than me, then I'm probably stronger than him, and I can probably beat them in a fight.

If I'm taller than them, I'd say I've got a better chance picking up a girl we both like.

Not completely. When it comes to guys, height affects our perception on how well they'd do in a fight.

I'd also prefer to date a shorter girl than myself for the dominant submissive dynamic I desire in a relationship. But being taller than me is not a deal breaker. As long as she's feminine and compatible with me, I'm good with it.

I think subconsciously they think about how big of a threat a guy is to them and they will treat men who are taller and have more muscles with more respect and more carefully than someone who is small and weak. But I don't think men will openly judge or make fun of someone for being short I've never seen it anyway.

As there is so much talk going on about it, it does not go unnoticed, of course.

Some of the taller specimen indeed can't wait to let others know how superior they feel.

Personally, I'd feel annoyed to have to bow my head each time I pass a door...

Most of us are normal, though. Beers, cars and soccer (so to say) are stronger than feet and inches :D

I prefer a woman who is tall. For some reason, the shorter ones in my life happened to be aggressive and abusive. And my subconscious now gravitates towards taller woman.
But height is height. Not all short women are as evil as the ones I happened to run into, growing up.
