I’ve been seeing a guy for 2 months and I thought everything was good. I even saw him a few days ago and we talked and he even tried to give me a kiss goodbye. But he hasn’t texted me in 2 days.

The first two months is the honeymoon phase usually, that’s why. It’s also around the point where things will either advance to a relationship, stay stagnant as a situationship, or ultimately nothing at all.
Now you’re going to start seeing who they truly are, which in this case may be a man who’s actually inconsistent with his efforts and may not be on the same page as you when it comes to seriousness. I don't know if you ever had a talk with him about what his intentions are or if you’re too afraid of “ruining things” or “chasing him off”, but maybe it’s a good opportunity to talk, irregardless of the outcome. Then at least if he’s not serious you can walk away.
