Why does a guy speak very soft like he is either nervous or annoyed when he gives me a hug?

I tap him and he gave me a hug but, it seems that he do want to speak to me or something he said hi very softly. He did the same thing when he touch my shoulder as being nervous or something.

Hmm that is kinda weird girly. When a dude gives a hug he usually talks normal! Maybe he was just feeling shy.

A couple reasons I can think of why he might talk soft:

- He likes you and gets nervous close to you. Guys do dumb stuff when they like a girl haha.

- Maybe he's shy around new people and isn't that comfortable yet. Give him time to warm up.

- Possibly he was annoyed at something else and it came out in his voice. But I bet that wasn't about you!

I wouldn't worry too much. Boys are mysterious creatures lol. But if he keeps acting off, you might ask what's up just to make sure everything's chill.

My bet is he fancies you and didn't know what to say! Just play it cool and be nice to him. See if he opens up more over time. Nothing wrong with a little crush :) Keep me posted girl!

He may like you a lot and is simply nervous to talk to you so he doesn't look foolish.
