My boss mumbled to me. Why do some men tend to mumble?

I don’t think it can be really traced back to a single season. Like I for one have mumbled before because I don’t want whatever I’m saying to be overheard or I don’t want to speak loudly in a place maybe Im supposed to watch my volume.

Actually that makes sense… maybe he didn’t want others who could be around or passing by to hear what he said lol. Secrecy makes sense especially if he was lowkey flirting with me.

I usually do smile or/and say hi. I hope he does say something more and get a convo going. I always worry to say something because he’s a boss and he’s busy and probably can’t stans around chatting.
