Well an out knowing much about what you’re situation is, there’s a number of reasons why men can’t be honest. Example. Does this dress make me look fat? No dear it’s not the dress. Now she’s mad at you all day. Two women just don’t know how to sit there and listen. It’s always something like I told you. I knew it. If you want him to talk then listen. Acknowledge his feelings. This isn’t just about your feelings. Don’t go into your mommy mode of scolding him. He already knows he messed up. Three a lot of women just can’t handle the truth. She likes him. He only wants to bang her so she sees him as a disgusting creep. If men were honest about a lot of the thoughts that went on in our head a major majority of women would not even talk to us.

Many ARE honest with their wives, but if the wife is the type to always jump up their guy's ass for every little thing then the guy will start hiding stuff.

There are different kinds of dishonesty, and in different situations. So what exactly are you having in mind as not being honest?

Please give some background. I think we are. As long as there is trust within a relationship, all should be fine. But we also need a bit of space of our own. Sometimes that can be misinterpreted.

Because the women you speak of choose to marry men who are not honest. Pretty simple. That's like asking why does a rapist rape. Or why does a thief steal? Why waste energy thinking about it. Just choose an honest man to begin with and avoid these problems.
